In Part 2, we visit the 1900s Town at Beamish.
After showing our passes, we caught the Binns Tram at the Entrance and travelled along the circuit passing various places until we got to the 1900s Town.
There is a lot to see here, I filmed and went inside the
Co-op, Emigration Office, Garage, Sweet Shop, Drappers, Chemist, Bakery, Masonic Hall and Barclay’s Bank with Vault downstairs.
The Staff are in Period Costume and they shared wonderful stories from the Periods they were working in.
Cakes, Pies, Bread, Sweets and Fry's Chocolate Bars, are made in the traditional way by the Staff in the shops at Beamish.
We had a fabulous day walking around Beamish, it’s an amazing place to visit.
