The Thomas Group was a group that existed from 1965 through 1970, which included Tony Thomas, the brother of Marlo Thomas and son of Danny Thomas. They were signed to the Dunhill record label in 1966 and cut seven sides over four singles, along with a slew of unreleased material that has finally been able to see the light of day through a brand new release that is being lauded as the reissue of the year. Hanky Panky records has presented a wonderful 28 track cd featuring all 7 of their single sides in mono and stereo, a later single recorded under the group name The Morning Sun, and 12 unreleased tracks. This song here was one of those unreleased sides, and one they could not find a master tape for, being sourced from the only known existing acetate for this release, thus the rough sound. I think this is a great song that should've been released. Do you agree?
