Описание: Welcome back to a new month of Inspirational music. Thank you for your patronage. “500 Miles,” performed by Peter, Paul, and Mary, was originally recorded in 1962 by the Journeyman and the Kingston Trio; the same year, PP&M included it on their first album.

This song chronicled an unknown traveler who finds himself/herself a long way from home, out of funds, and yet too proud to return and admit failure, but hoping the light being followed leads to the Promised Land. Jackie sings beautiful lead and harmony vocals, using her signature contralto voice. Pastor John adds his distinctive low end in the backing voices, and I played bass underneath those ringing acoustic guitars. We hope you enjoy its gentle nature, sound effects, and thought-provoking lyrics.
