Briquetting is a sustainable way of dealing more efficiently with residual materials from production and achieving higher revenues from production. For example, by remelting under certain circumstances a higher melting yield can be achieved.

By briquetting metal chips or grinding sludge, for example, companies can recover expensive cooling lubricants such as oil or emulsion. In the case of grinding sludge, these can already make up more than 50 percent of the raw material.

The machines can run fully automatically in 24-hour operation and reduce disposal and personnel costs accordingly. The presses can also be used to compact some types of dust.
