365 Daily Devotions: Seminary Edition


💁🏻 Concept: Twenty-Four-Hour Day
The Twenty-Four-Hour Day View teaches that God created the world in six literal, consecutive days, with yom (“day”) meaning a normal day joined with “evening and morning.” In this week of creation, God made all things: light, sky, land, vegetation, heavenly bodies, birds, sea creatures, animals, and mankind. On the seventh day, He rested, blessing the Sabbath. This view affirms God’s authority, His Word’s truth, and the goodness of creation.

🙏🏼 Prayer:
Lord God, Creator of heaven and earth, I praise You for making all things by the power of Your word in six days and resting on the seventh. Your creation shows Your authority, wisdom, and goodness. Teach me to believe that nothing is impossible for You, to have faith in Your sovereign plan, and to honor You by taking time to rest in Your presence regularly each week. May Your Word strengthen my faith and guide my life daily. Please, make me productive and give me success today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
