Описание: The French Alps are spectacular.... We spent a wonderful 3 weeks travelling around and there was never a dull moment. The Col du Chaussy via Lacets de Montvernier is in the Savoie department, Rhône-Alpes region of France and was one of the most challenging drives we've undertaken, although it has lines sort of down the middle of the road the initial climb, with it's 17 bends, is virtually single track, not for the faint hearted. Further along there's a Balcony section with stunning views. I've left as many of the interesting parts as possible in so that anyone brave enough to consider giving it a go will be well prepared.
