After pledging $100 million dollars to combat terrorism in the Middle East, President Clinton continued his 24-hour visit to Israel on Thursday (14/3), adhering to a heavy schedule. Clinton, who started the day meeting Prime Minister Shimon Peres and his inner cabinet, later met opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu. He then visited the gravesite of late Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, the Beit Hinuch high school which lost eight students during the recent spate of suicide bomb attacks, and a Tel Aviv hospital to call on children wounded in one of the attacks.
