Описание: A final fling along the Great Western and Golden Valley lines for an Eastern favourite... John Cameron's ex-LNER A4 Pacific no. 60009 'Union of South Africa' worked a Railway Touring Company 'Cotswold Venturer' on February 22nd 2020, running from London Paddington to Worcester Shrub Hill & Return - out and back via Swindon, The Golden Valley and Cheltenham - a route with sections that this "Gresley Greyhound" has seen lots of recently since rejoining the Mainline Charter market in 2012, aside from it's usual East Coast stomping ground.

This video covers the A4 in full flight on several occasions throughout the day, with it's 11 coach train and no diesel assistance, along with no shortage of the elegant ringing of the Chime Whistle reverbarating through quiet villages or the Regulator being wide open, as the 4-6-2 shows off one more time in this part of the country, ahead of it's boiler certificate expiry slowly creeping up on us and ahead of retirement.

Locations include South Stoke (Goring), Purton, Ashurch [for Tewkesbury] on the outward run, with Eckington, Stonehouse and Cholsey being witnessed on the return journey.

All shots filmed in 4K with a pair of Panasonic VX870 and VX980 camcorders, with a pair of Takstar SGC-598 Microphones.
