INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 cups raw or toasted almonds
1/4 cup toasted unsweetened coconut flakes (omit if you don't like coconut!)
Salt to taste
Cinnamon to taste
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/4 cup grapeseed oil (Less if you like your almond butter less runny)
METHOD:
1. Start by using toasted almonds - or toast yourself at 425 Fahrenheit for 15 minutes, checking on and mixing halfway through.
2. One cooled, add your almonds, salt, cinnamon, and coconut flakes to the bowl of a food processor.
3. Pulse until a powdery consistency.
4. Add all oils in at once, or by 2 teaspoons at once and blend. Blending this way will result in a smoother consistency. I like my almond butter a bit chunky. Add more seasoning as needed!
