Silent Hike along the Mishe Mokwa Trail in the Santa Monica Mountains to Big Dome and Tri-Peaks. The weather was perfect, if a little breezy. The mountains were green and the wildflowers were beginning to bloom.

As you will see, the trek up to the summit of Big Dome was a bit challenging at times. Very steep and it was easy to lose the trail. But great views at the top! To the north was Newbury Park and Thousand Oaks. To the south were Sandstone Peak, Inspiration Peak, Exchange Peak, etc, and the Pacific Ocean. There was only one short section that required some scrambling.

There was also a short section of scrambling to get up Tri-Peaks, but nothing major. Great views all around there, too. To the west was the Oxford Plain, and more ocean and mountain views to the south and east. Great day for a hike!

NOTE: I experimented with different rendering settings on the previous upload of this video and I didn't like the results. Reuploaded with the settings I normally use.
