Описание: As one of the top 15 countries grappling with severe malnutrition. The TY Danjuma Foundation, in collaboration with the Social Welfare Network Initiative (SWNI), is working to improve access to quality and affordable healthcare. This partnership distributes essential micronutrient-based food supplements and general food items to 2,500 displaced households, reaching an estimated 17,500 internally displaced persons (IDPs). The project is enhancing the maternal health of pregnant and lactating women through sensitisation and training on Infant and Young Child Feeding in Emergency (IYCF-E) practices. Additionally, it focuses on improving the nutritional status of children under five by administering Vitamin A supplements and Albendazole in the Wassa IDP settlement located in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
