Footage shot lineside at Nantwich and Crewe featuring a special railtour hauled by a pair of Class 47s — Roger Hosking MA (D1935) and Crewe Diesel Depot’s own D1924.
Alongside the main event, we captured a great mix of modern traction including Class 390 Pendolinos, 66s, 67s, 730s, 82s, 450s and 390s. We also took a look across to Crewe Diesel Depot where several classic 37s and 47s were stabled.
A brilliant mix of heritage and modern operations on the West Coast Main Line.
