Through His sacrifice, we are forgiven not only so that we can be saved, but so that we can truly know Him. As we experience the depth of Christ’s love, we begin to love what He loves. To follow Jesus is to forsake the things that compete for our hearts and to embrace His bride, the church, with the same love He has for her.
