Amos 6a: In the first half of chapter 6, Amos laments about Israel’s prosperity has blinded them to the decay of their nation. The prosperity that came at the expense of the common Israelite. Israel’s prosperity and strength mean little to the GOD of creation. BUT their wickedness is granted GOD’s full attention.
