It was a cold day so cold that I had bother getting into the car and the camera ended up having problems because of the zero freezing temperatures. That aside we had a brilliant wander.
The nature reserve is easy to get to and on reasonable day it is an easy walk with plenty to see on the wet lands. We spotted 4 deer, at least 2 raptors a heron and loads of wild foul. The deer don’t show themselves until the last minute, so if might wand to keep dogs on the lead.
I had problems because of the frozen ground but took it easy.
Morag is still looking for the deer.
