Leaving Idaho behind, we follow an old river road into western Wyoming and discover a quieter side of the state.
In this episode, we explore Gray’s River Road through the Bridger-Teton National Forest — a historic travel corridor once used by trappers and mountain men like Jim Bridger. What begins as a simple drive turns into miles of pine forests, wide open meadows, and one of the most peaceful creekside camps we’ve found in Wyoming.
No crowds. No rush. Just gravel roads, moving water, and the kind of remote travel that reminds us why we love overlanding in the first place.
If you enjoy scenic overlanding, Jeep Gladiator camping, and exploring historic backroads across the American West, you’re in the right place.
