This is one stanza from a Madrosho in the tune "ho qteel u bMesreyn" from the Lilyo (night) prayers from the Fenqitho for the Sixth Sunday of Great Lent; when the Syriac Orthodox Church commemorates the healing of the blind. The entire Madrosho is much longer and has many more stanzas. As per the canons of the Beth Gazo, the hymns of this day are chanted in mode 6.
This stanza has been adopted from the Fenqitho to be used as the Hoothomo (concluding hymn) to be chanted at the end the Holy Qurbana of this day.
