I've always had a thing for trees - thanks in large part to my dad, who planted heaps of them around our house - plus the fact that I grew up in a bushland setting in delightful Mt Martha, Australia. Spending much of my youth camping and walking through the Victorian High Country didn't hurt, either, so it's understandable that I enjoy them. But in this video, I explain the seven main reasons I love to photograph them, and why you might, too.
