This video shows you how to replace the part that failed with only a screwdriver! You can do this in a parking lot if need be. Works for any car, AUDI, Volkswagen with the 2.0L TFSI motor. 2009-2014 AUDI or many years VW. At the end of the video, the oil cap is kind of sucked into the engine, this is normal, there is somewhat of a vacuum there, I was not aware of that.
