"Sew The Land is a collection of pieces in two parts inspired by the journey of moving to a different country. When shifted from a fixed position, the land becomes a place conceived of brief moments, the passing of time and the seasons, and the songs which run deep through the trees, the lakes, the wind, and the sun.
The first part, titled 'Once In Passing' is dedicated to things that we may only get see once, exploring the ways in which they exist and evolve. The second part, titled 'Dancing on a Fable', is filled with traces of song and groove, blending the grounding sound of a rhythm section with jazz and folk inflections as well as improvisation."
