This performance, recorded in the David Josewitz Recital Hall, was part of the Royal Academy of Music's 'Student Create Festival 2026'.
'in between the sky and earth exists'... is a collaborative ensemble that explores the colliding worlds of modern jazz and classical chamber music through the mediums of French Impressionism and free improvisation. This piece, 'a scar upon a sapling', explores the feeling of learning to accept something that has affected you earlier in life and allowing yourself to embrace and grow around it rather than letting it swallow you whole.
