Ingredients:
Pasta — 300 g
Mushrooms (champignons or any others) — 250 g
Sausage (smoked or cooked) — 150 g
Cream (20-30%) — 200 ml
Cheese (hard or processed) — 100 g
Olive oil — 2 tbsp
Salt — to taste
Pepper — to taste
Parsley (optional) — for serving
Instructions:
1. Cooking the Pasta:
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until al dente according to the package instructions. Then drain in a colander and set aside.
2. Sautéing the Mushrooms:
In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped mushrooms and sauté until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
3. Adding the Sausage:
Cut the sausage into cubes or strips and add it to the mushrooms. Sauté for another 3-4 minutes until the sausage is slightly browned.
4. Making the Sauce:
Reduce the heat, add the cream to the skillet with the mushrooms and sausage. Stir and bring to a gentle simmer. Lower the heat and cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
5. Mixing with Pasta:
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the sauce and mix well to coat the pasta evenly.
6. Adding the Cheese:
Grate the cheese and add it to the pasta, continuing to stir until the cheese melts and creates a creamy texture.
7. Serving:
Serve hot, garnished with freshly chopped parsley for brightness and aroma.
Tips:
You can add your favorite spices, such as oregano or basil, for extra flavor.
