Disney Wish Vlog Day 4 | Snorkelling at Castaway Cay, Drinks from Summertime Freeze & Dinner at 1923

This was a super exciting day as this was mine, Mum's and Dad's first time on Castaway Cay which is Disney's private island! When we got off we saw Chip and Dale and even met Jack Sparrow which is what Ella wanted to do the most!

We then got on the tram and we were so amazed by the views, it is so much better in person than what I've seen on vlogs. When we got off the tram we saw Mickey and then we had a look in the shop called She Sells Sea Shells And Everything Else. Dad was the only one to make a purchase here, I was hoping for some pins but there wasn't any.

After this we spotted Summertime Freeze, I really wanted to go here for the Sven sipper which I bought and I went for the drink called Ice Palace. After having our drinks we went over to the bike hire place and cycled down the runway and to the lookout tower. I definitely recommend doing this if you go to the island as we could see the entire island.

We parked up at Serenity Bay Beach to have a look around there, this was the adult only area but honestly this was more crowded than the normal area, even the food place had no available tables. We had a little bike ride past the cabanas and up to the quieter end of Serenity Bay before cycling back on the runway to the main area to go get some food.

We decided to eat at Cookies BBQ, it wasn't too busy and had a lot of available tables. I got a veggie burger which you have to ask for and it was so delicious, the macaroni salad (which was my fave), the grilled sweetcorn salad, red skin potato salad and coleslaw which was amazing inside the burger. I also got a chocolate chip cookie, chocolate brownie, pineapple crumble bar cake, Texas corn bread and they even had bags of crisps/chips too and lots of meats which Dad and Ella tried. I then went over to the soft serve ice cream area and got banana ice cream in a cup, they also had chocolate, vanilla and strawberry.

Then we let our food go down a bit then collected our snorkelling gear. This was such a highlight for me and I didn't think I'd like it as much as I did. As I ditched the flippers at the beginning I did get super tired and it was a struggle to swim so we only managed to see Dumbo under the water, next time I plan to see them all and to keep the flippers on so that can be possible but out of all the ones we saw I'm glad it was Dumbo! We also saw so many cute fish!

We got back on board the Wish which was bittersweet as we were so tired but we knew it was our final night onboard. As we were still in our swimming costumes we knew it was a perfect time to go on the AquaMouse, we sadly weren't allowed to take our cameras or phones on it to get a video but it was so much fun that we even rode it twice!! After this we went back to our rooms and only had 15 minutes to get changed for the Aladdin show so we didn't end up having our showers till after the show. The show was really funny, the Genie was my favourite in it and even his hair fell off and he made some funny jokes about it.

After the show finished it meant we only had 45 minutes to get fully ready for dinner at 1923 and this was the restaurant we wanted to look the nicest for. After all four of us had showers and hair washes we managed to be ready only 5 minutes late for dinner which wasn't too bad for the amount of time we had.

The restaurant was so beautiful, we ended up on the Walt Disney side sat in the Beauty and the Beast section. I had the four cheese tortellini, roasted tomato soup, buena vista soft shell tacos and for dessert churros. After eating we had a look around the rest of the restaurant, it showcased lots of concept art of Tangled, Frozen, Moana, Beauty and the Beast, Princess and the Frog and Sleeping Beauty.

Then we headed over to the shops to do our final bit of Disney Cruise Line shopping, I got some Castaway Cay pins and Mum got a Christmas tree ornament. We then had our final pizza on Deck 11 from Daisy's Pizza Pies just as I didn't enjoy my meal that much in 1923. And we then caught the final Goodnight Kiss in the atrium at midnight which was so magical and it was Cinderella themed. We then went back to our room packed up our stuff and went to bed, in the next vlog we will be debarking the Disney Wish and having our final meal back in 1923.
