Decorreu este Domingo (06 de Agosto) a tradicional Festa em Honra da Nossa Senhora dos Navegantes, numa organização do Clube União Culatrense, com o seu expoente máximo a ser a realização da procissão em honra de Nossa Senhora dos Navegantes padroeira da Ilha da Culatra.

Neste dia, os barcos foram vistosamente engalanados com bandeirinhas multicolores, para realizarem o cortejo que acompanhou a imagem de Nossa Senhora dos Navegantes, por mar, até ao “Cais T” em Olhão, ao encontro de Nossa Senhora do Rosário padroeira de Olhão.

Seguidamente deu-se início à Procissão por mar com as embarcações que transportavam as imagens da "Nossa Senhora do Rosário" e "Nossa Senhora dos Navegantes" e de diversas embarcações da ilha. Durante o percurso todos exaltaram a sua fé e devoção, com preces e vivas às Santas, como era audível bem ao longe.

The traditional Feast in Honor of Our Lady of the Navigators was held this Sunday (August 6), in an organization of the Club Union Culatrense (Faro / Algarve / Portugal), with its Exponent maximum to be the accomplishment of the procession in honor of Our Lady of the Navigantes patroness of the Island of Culatra.

On this day, the boats were visually decorated with multicolored flags, to perform the procession that accompanied the image of Our Lady of the Navigators, by sea, to the "T Pier" in Olhão, to meet Our Lady of the Rosary, the patron saint of Olhão.

The procession was followed by sea with the vessels carrying the images of "Our Lady of the Rosary" and "Our Lady of the Navigators" and several vessels of the island. Along the way they all exalted their faith and devotion, with prayers and cheers to the Santas, as it was audible in the distance.
