Pit gets worried about what's going on down below. Palutena silently tells him to go and fight the army while also finding Mario on the way there.

"Do people here communicate with facial expressions all the time or what?" Chris asked.

Mario and Pit stared seriously at him.

"...You can stop doing that any moment now..."

"...Oh, hey! Lady Palutena! Come over here! It's us when we underwent massive plastic surgery AND before our next big game came out!" Pit suddenly commented.

The goddess of light walked into view and chuckled. "Ahh, I remember that! It's when we didn't get our vastly improved outlooks in life... We managed to get our own FRANCHISE involved into the SSE story, to boot! Did Mario get to have his precious kingdom involved? Nooooooooo, he didn't, but mine did."

"Of course we did! We have special treatment for being Skyworld beings...and you being a goddess, Lady Palutena."

"Aw, hell, they're in their fourth wall-breaking attitudes..." Chris muttered. "I'm so glad this isn't really some sort of fanfic."

Pit and Palutena stared seriously at him.

Mario looked at Chris. "...Chris, they're trying to say tha-"

"I have a nasty feeling that's telling me they're confirming some dark doubts I don't want to confirm. I'm not blind..." the World Traveler muttered.

Key Notes:

First Part: Get To Know Pit
The first part is not chaos-filled. Just travel through the stage as Pit.

Second Part: Get Pit To Fight
Except now there are enemies. Insane difficulty setting tells you one thing clearly: get ganged up and you DIE. Carefully fight all enemies on your way.

Third Part: Pit Doesn't Ask For Mario's Autograph
With Mario in the team, choose either of them. I find Mario to be more useful than Pit in some instances.
Mario and Pit get to see the Halberd flying away, just in time to see a Star Trek-looking ship chasing the ship down...
