The Gospel of Mark shifts gears in chapter 4 to include several teachings of Jesus. In this portion of the chapter, we will examine the reason Jesus employed the use of parables and we will study three of them.
We are all called to be sow the seeds of the Gospel. Jesus warns His disciples that some seeds may fall on rocky soil, but this does not remove the responsibility to share the good news. It is your responsibility to plant the seeds and let the Holy Spirit do the work of producing the growth. We never know the full and often times delayed impact our efforts may have on someone's overall spiritual journey. Be faithful where the Lord has placed you and allow the Holy Spirit to do His work!
