Join SCAUK trustees Gareth Cole and Joanna Balgarnie, along with cardiologist Professor Thomas Keeble, as they address some of the questions raised by our community prior to the 10 Years Together Conference held earlier this year in Hinckley.
The three questions being addressed are listed below and the team will also take questions from the audience.
Q1 : Why are SCA survivors often placed on a standard set of medications without individualised assessment?
Q2 : Do standard medications prescribed post SCA impact cognitive function or mental abilities?
Q3 : Since my SCA has already happened once, how can medical professionals reassure me that my heart and arteries are not at risk for another one?
