Text Guide:
Begin by use Patience II, as Endoceras is a single mooch fish making Patience II ideal for continual mooches. Cast out and hook a ! bite use the Precision Hookset. If it's a Fullmoon Sardine, mooch it. Ignore any fish which aren't a !!! bite. Coelacanthus and Endoceras share a very similar window, so it's entirely possible your !!! will be Coelacanthus. In that case, start the mooch over by catching another Fullmoon Sardine. Repeat steps and keep Patience II up as much as possible until Endoceras is caught.

For this you'll follow it by the guide, just use Patience I instead of Patience II.

Endoceras is one of the six required fish for the Feast of Famine fishing quest. While it is one more of the more common of the required big fish, it shares a window with Coelacanthus, making it hard to distinguish if the heavy tug is Endoceras or not.
