🌱How to catch Navigator's Brand in FFXIV

Описание: Navigator's Brand is one of two fish required for the Beast of Brewer's Beacon quest, the other fish being the Titanic Sawfish. Completion of this quest grants the title "The Ambitious Angler" and unlocks the Feast of Famine quest. Navigator's Brand can be placed in Tier 2 aquariums or higher, but can not be sold or traded.

Bait: Yumizuno
Conditions: 9 - 14 Fair or Clear weather
Min Gathering Req: 290

Text Guide:
Begin fishing using Chum and casting out, reeling in whatever the first bite is. Use Surface Slap on whatever the first fish you catch is (unless it's Navigator's Brand, in that case congratulations you're done). Continue to use Chum and not reel in anything unless it's a !!! bite. By letting a fish go, Surface Slap is not removed, as it's only removed when a fish is successfully hooked. Hook the !!! bite, this will be a Navigator's Brand.


🌱FFXIV Free Trial Fishers:
Ignore using Surface Slap, and just chum as much as you can. You should still be able to get it with ease.
