We walked into a school that has built its entire foundation on the Lions Quest program — teaching life skills, character, and leadership from Year 1 all the way through Year 10. And what we found inside left us speechless.

👁️ Nearly 3,000 Vision Screenings
Eye doctors who have traveled from across the globe worked side by side with local Lions to screen nearly 3,000 children today. Every child. Every eye. Every future protected. This brings our total for the week to well over 9,000 screenings across Vizag.

🎓 Lions Quest — Year 1 to Year 10
This school has fully embraced the Lions Quest curriculum — a program that teaches children the skills they need not just to pass a test, but to lead a life. Walking those hallways, seeing Lions Quest in action from the youngest students to the oldest, reminded us exactly why this organisation exists.

🔬 The Science Projects
Between screenings, we had the privilege of walking through the students' science fair. These young minds are already asking the big questions — building, testing, discovering. The next generation of scientists, doctors, and engineers is alive and well in Vizag.

💃 A Cultural Performance That Stopped Everything
Before we left the school grounds, the students performed traditional Indian cultural dances just for us. The colours, the rhythm, the precision — it was a full celebration of everything that makes this region of India so extraordinary. We were not just guests. We were family.

🌳 500 Trees Planted
After the screenings, our Lions picked up shovels and got to work. Five hundred trees planted around the school and community grounds — five hundred gifts of shade, clean air, and life that will grow long after we have returned home. Every tree is a promise kept.

This is what LCIF makes possible. Not just screenings. Not just glasses. But an investment in the whole child — their sight, their education, their environment, and their future.We are not done yet.
