This conversation was recorded in July, 2025 before Moral Injury was added to the DSM-5-TR in September. Mick begins the conversation with a diagram that assists in identification of PTSD, burnout and moral injury. He discusses case examples and the different ways to address each one and how they may overlap.

Part of the conversation delves into ways that people can respond to moral injury- through revenge, compartementalisation, being a victim, or forgiveness. He focuses on how forgiveness is the aspect he focuses on in his practice.

While this conversation with Mick is an introduction to topics which will be explored more deeply in upcoming vlogs, there is much for clinicians and counsellors to increase knowledge in this area.
