Описание: We follow up Kanegasaki with another classic stage, Anegawa. I play as Tadakatsu and Mitsuki here.

I mostly played as Tadakatsu because I'd been ignoring him up till this point in favor of playing other people. This is mostly because he's just another samurai now, even his personality is pretty much interchangeable with Toshiie, just like his Great Spear moveset. This is the most disappointing Tadakatsu I've ever played. And at no point does he suddenly get awesome, he doesn't even stand out at Mikatagahara, Hanzo does most the work there. They're saving him becoming the Tadakatsu he should be for the NEXT game. As we get closer to the end, it'll become more and more apparent they're setting up for an SW5-II and likely an SW5-III. Tadakatsu definitely suffers from that since it means he's just "here" for this game.

Mitsuki uses the Gloves, which really should have been called Gauntlets, but whatever. That moveset is shared with Yasuke but we won't see him until towards the end of the game. The Gloves have a gimmick where you use a Charge attack and then the user taps their knuckles together and starts glowing with a red aura. After the buff is applied, the next Charge attack they use will be buffed and use an enhanced animation. The Jump Charge can apply the buff, but it doesn't change with the buff applied, and the Hyper attacks won't buff you at all. But it will WASTE the buff if you do a Hyper attack during the middle of the S-string, so don't use them accidentally. Curiously, it won't burn the buff if you use Hyper attack on its own. I think the game is tricked into thinking you're doing a Charge attack if you do it during the S-string, so it gets rid of the buff even though it actually does nothing. Good going, Koei.

Mitsuki's unique attacks often involve her utilizing a shadow clone. She has fun with it too, she'll give it a high five at the end of her C5 and you'll see it wave goodbye during her musou in the background.
