Seldom seen, frame up restored southern truck. Custom cab, beautiful colors, wrap around rear glass. $3,800 just spent sorting it out. 150 Test miles were recently put on it.

EXTERIOR: Very nicely restored. Rust fee body and underside. Everything is straight. The two-tone paint is smooth, glossy, and shows really well. Weather strips have been replaced. Most of the chrome and stainless trim has been replaced. Color matched bedliner, new tailgate hardware. It rolls on BFG Silvertown WW tires with original style wheels with new hub caps and trim rings.

INTERIOR: The inside of the cab was restored as well. The seat has been rebuilt and upholstered, new headliner kit, visors, restored gauge cluster, new dash knobs, window cranks, and door handles. Restored Deluxe 3 spoke steering wheel, original style rubber mat on the floor, all dash and interior lights work properly.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Just touch the starter and it fires up instantly. The venerable 223 Inline 6 has been inspected, fully serviced, and runs like a Swiss watch. Upgraded carburetor, new fuel pump, hoses, and battery. Nicely detailed.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Nice straight tailgate with new chains and latches. Inside the Fleetside bed is very nice and usable being sprayed in durable color matched bedliner.

UNDERSIDE: It has been thoroughly cleaned and painted. The metal floors are clean and black. The chassis is clean and painted black. Bottom of the motor is spotless. 3-speed trans has been serviced and shifts flawlessly. Rebuilt front axle, new kingpins. Brakes were redone including parking brake service. Shocks have been replaced. Has new factory style exhaust with a chrome tip.

These are old vehicles and occasionally you get on that feels right… here it is. Not a bad looker either. I just took it for a drive and while stopped at a gas station had people all over it. So maybe keep some lawn chairs in the bed as it draws attention everywhere. You just don’t see these trucks often.
