In this episode, I return to the well but this time to protect it.
Concrete rings now hold the walls, and a heavy lid seals the top. It can’t be used for harm again.
Most of my days are still spent brushcutting — almost 80% of the terraces cleared now — and picking up the endless garbage scattered around the land. It’s exhausting, repetitive, but it’s what gives this place a new start.
Restoration doesn’t always look like progress. Sometimes it’s just protection, patience, and small changes that make the next step possible.
