This is a video about V/Locities at Bacchus Railway station.
This was filmed on a weekday.
However the operations of a weekend here are a bit different.
According to my knowledge, every train on a weekend heading towards Melbourne Southern Cross has to stop and wait for a little while on platform 1 for the Wendouree train to pull into platform 2.
This is so the track between Bacchus Marsh and Melton is free for the Melbourne Southern Cross bound train can continue its journey from Bacchus Marsh to Melton, then onto Melbourne Southern Cross. As there is only one track between Melton and Bacchus Marsh, while Melton to Southern Cross has two tracks. I assume this is why you see more trains leave from Melton to Southern Cross if a weekend here are day, as the trains do not have to wait for another train to to pass another.
