Snow has been falling on and off across Cleveland for days, and while conditions were calmer Saturday, firefighters say winter weather continues to bring serious risks.
Cold temperatures mean people are spending more time both outside and inside trying to stay warm — and that’s when Cleveland firefighters say calls begin to increase.
“We're going to see a number of fires. It's been a very, we had a very busy week for fires last week. We had 5 house fires on Wednesday,” said Lt. Mike Norman, the public information officer for the Cleveland Division of Fire.
