This video introduces a simple way to focus on your breath.
The content of this video is in ISL and has a spoken translation into English and has English captions.
The idea for this particular video came from my colleagues at Reach Deaf Services as a way to celebrate European Workplace Wellbeing Day. I would like to dedicate this video to all of them and the work that they do in supporting members of the Deaf community to live more engaged, fulfilled and meaningful lives.
I will be releasing more meditations over the coming weeks.
The video begins with an explanation of ways that I focus on my breath before moving on to the breathing exercise.
I close my eyes during the breath exercise and the breath exercise is repeated. In order to get the most out of the ISL in this video, I recommend watching the exercise through the first time with your eyes open to get a feel for it. When the exercise is repeated, then close your eyes and go with what you remember, coming back to your breath each time. You can check the video to get back on track if you can’t remember what to do - just watch as much as you need :)
