New renovation reveal! This home office guest room combo is packed with inspiration for big impacts in small spaces. At around 13.5 x 10 feet, we were able to get this room to function beautifully with the right design strategy.
Our clients Donna and Joe just recently downsized into a smaller home in the Greater Boston area, and they were in need of one multi-use room to serve three purposes:
a home office
a relaxing day room
and a guest bedroom that could sleep their two grandsons!
We designed a completely custom built-in wall unit that housed a twin trundle bed, hidden drawers, vertical cabinetry, and integrated shelving to maximize every inch. We're in love with how it turned out, and that it's a flex space that feels intentional rather than crowded and forced.
