Vocab Wednesday: Words from The New Yorker

Описание: In this GRE Vocab Wednesday video, Chris Lele from Magoosh goes over words from The New Yorker's movie reviews. These are reviews include lots of great GRE vocab words! :)

Chris starts things off with "fervent," which means full of enthusiasm and highly passionate. When the San Francisco Giants won the World Series, everyone in San Francisco became a fervent Giants fan! The next word is "testy." This means very irritable and likely to get angry at something. If you come across a testy person, make sure you stay away from him or her! Next up we have "prodigious," which means large and vast. It usually describes the extent of something. If you have a prodigious memory, you'll be able to learn a lot of GRE vocab words! The last word is "querulous," which means to complain in a whiny way.
