They Said There Was NOTHING To Do In MUANG KHUA | Laos 🇱🇦

I have no idea what these people are talking about to be honest this little Lao river town Is beautiful.

I start the day off by giving you a little hotel tour, we paid 100,000 lao kip a night for a really nice room with a river view and terrace?! Seriously that's like £5 what an absolute deal, this alone could get us to stay here for a week and just relax.

We headed out into Muang Khua town to see if this place was as boring as people said... To no surprise they had no idea what they were talking about.

We walked across the suspension bridge which is no doubt one of the most beautiful and scenic moments of our entire trip in Laos, this place was magical. You could stand on here all night watching local life.

On the other side we walked through the village showing you how things are here in Muang Khua before we found a guesthouse with a ridiculous little pet baby monkey which was so funny, the owners were lovely.

In Muang Khua I also had the cheapest haircut of my whole life at a solid price of 15,000 lao kip for both my hair and beard..... That is like £0.70 absolutely crazy.

We also met friendly locals and a really cute disabled dog with funny arms that I felt proper sorry for.

The only downside of Muang Khua and every touristy destination in Laos is that the kids constantly harass you asking for money.. This seriously kills the vibe of a place for me and skews lots of local interactions which is a massive shame. I wish people would stop doing this it affects these places pretty badly and changes the feeling of the town.

All in all muang khua is a beautiful little river town here in northern Laos and we loved our 4 days here just relaxing, meeting nice people and soaking in the small village feel 🇱🇦
