Our miracle baby Tiaraoluwa was born Jan 1st, 2020. She came early at 31 weeks, weighing only 2lbs 4 oz, due to her mom carrying a big fibroid the size of a watermelon. Despite how early she came, she was very healthy and fine and had no medical issues whatsoever (Thank God), but she was just much smaller than the average 31 week old baby, because the fibroid kept outgrowing her and wasn't giving her much room to grow. Long journey to this point, but our Princess is one year old today, and we're blessed to have her in our lives.
Fibroids are very common in Black women but not really talked about, so we decided to share our story to encourage those who may be going through a similar journey. Stay positive, stay prayed up, stay encouraged!
