My Quick Story about my 27cm Fibroid and Pregnancy

Описание: This journey of mine is called surrender... I told God I will learn in this season; just give me the strength and courage for all that I have to go through. I won't complain. What you see is not pregnancy. What you see is a Fibroid tumor. During my eight week check up to hear my baby's heartbeat, the doctor and I noticed I was showing a lot quicker than a normal pregnancy. Due to hormonal changes, my body was feeding this fibroid at a rapid rate. Somehow, I wasn't concerned. I just wanted to hear my baby's heartbeat. It was so beautiful. At this point it was 18 cm. The doctors gave me an option to terminate the pregnancy and to remove the fibroid. They weren't sure if I could go to full-term and told me it was going to be a difficult pregnancy. I had this great peace that God was with me and I had to try. I looked at the doctor and said we are going to keep going and I will endure whatever I have to. Overall, I loved being pregnant - her little love kicks and movement kept me going. I would spend countless times in and out of the hospital but the baby was fine. I would need to spend five months in bed but my baby was fine. I would lose a large amount of weight but my baby was fine. We surpassed their expectations and the comments "are you sure you're not having twins?" My baby made it to 36 weeks. The doctors made sure that both of our lives were saved that day and I'm forever grateful. As much as it was the scariest, I knew I couldn't complain but be in gratitude hearing my daughter first cry. My little Miracle and I were OK. She survived being in the womb with this over 27 cm fibroid. She came out perfectly healthy. Now here I am about to go into surgery to remove what has been a part of me for this past year. I feel so many emotions but I pray daily for strength , peace and courage. Sometimes we go through things and it's not a why, but for who. I hope this gives one person hope you can endure anything. Surrender to the unknown. Pray for strength. Pray for courage and walk with your head held high... Enjoy The Journey
