Track 7 from his third solo album “Wired" released in 1976 copyright Epic Records. It was recorded at Sir George Martin's AIR Studios and Trident Studios in London and Cherokee Studios in Hollywood. Following the great success of his masterpiece "Blow by Blow" Jeff was at the top of his game and kept the groove going with another example of instrumental excellence. For this one he added Jan Hammer on synthesizers and a new rhythm section. The white Fender Stratocaster he used on this album was given to him by his friend John McLaughlin from the Mahavishnu Orchestra. New drummer Narada Michael Walden wrote four of the songs and Max Middleton wrote Led Boots as a tribute to Zeppelin. It received mostly positive reviews and reached No. 16 on the Billboard chart. It achieved Gold status in a few months and was certified Platinum in 1986. Recorded from the original vinyl. Written by Narada Michael Walden and produced by Sir George Martin, Chris Bond & Jan Hammer. RIP Sir George Martin & Jeff Beck. Featuring:
Jeff Beck – Lead, rhythm & acoustic guitars
Special Guests:
Max Middleton - Hohner Clavinet & Fender Rhodes electric piano
Jan Hammer - Synthesizers, drums on "Blue Wind"
