EP 9 - Dhankar to Pin Valley | Dhankar monastery, | Pin Valley, Spiti Tour

Описание: This is a 15 episode series of Spiti tours, We started this tour on 22ndJune 2021 from Shimla and went via Kinnaur and Spiti to Manali. During this journey we covered many popular destinations of Spiti valley and some unexplored beautiful destinations.

Below are the places which we have covered on our 7th day of the Spiti Tour, Hope you will enjoy this episode. Date of Journey - 1st July 2021.

Dhankar Monastery - Built on a cliff, one of the oldest monasteries in Spiti valley,
No mobile network of any operators, sometimes you are on the roof of any home in the village, you might get a BSNL network, that goes. Jio is working on building a tower there.

Hotel Dhankar Heights - We visited the nearby hotel to the monastery, Room rate is Rs 1500 double occupancy

Lalung Monastery - This is part of Dhankar monastery, located at a distance, we did darshan of Guru Padmasambhava along with many deities.

8 km from Lalung - We stopped at a bridge built across Lingti River, where we saw a beautiful waterfall at Lingti Village.

Dolma Dhaba - Our driver told us from Lalung to Pin Valley, you have only one food eatery where we stopped) We had maggie there. I spoke to the owner, she told me that they generally don’t open this Dhaba on regular basis. Most of the time they are in their fields.

Mud Village - We stayed at Pin Parvati Hotel - Ph. 9418571167, 8219931756. He cooked us below items

Local Pizza made of wheat Base & Stuffing of Tomato, Capsicum, Onion with cheese.
Shunali - Uniqe Sweet dish which is made of wheat with garlic.

There is only 1 Himachal Roadways bus operates Kaza to Mud Village - 50 km. Evening 4 pm from Kaza which reaches at 6 pm in Mud village. This same bus goes back to Kaza in morning at 6 am.
