[4KHDR] Driving in the Netherlands: Provinciale Weg N46 from Groningen to Eemshaven

Описание: In this video you can drive along on the Dutch N46 from Groningen to Eemshaven in the very North of the country. The N46 starts out as the northern 'Ringweg' or Beltway of the city of Groningen and then continues all the way to Eemshaven. From Groningen to Eemshaven, the N46 is a 1x1 expressway with a 100 km/h speed limit.

Eemshaven is considered to be the most northern point of mainland the Netherlands (not counting the islands). It's a growing port on the Wadden Sea and the estuary of the Eems (Ems in German) river. The port is known to have a large coal power plant, some innovative maritime companies as well as big tech datacenters.

As of late, the port is also served by newly found start-up ferry line 'Holland Norway Lines'. Since the start of operations in April 2022 it already sold over 400.000 tickets. The ferry can also transport vehicles and serves the ports Eemshaven - Kristiansand (South of Norway). The trip takes approximately 18 hours one way (overnight), and is a viable alternative to driving there, which would take about the same time.
