We knew it was coming and we battened down the hatches in preparation for it. Our neighbors in their pop-up, not so much. They lost their awning in the storm.
The crazy thing is, they were all sitting outside shooting the breeze, surely they heard the fast approaching thunder and saw the lightening!
There were tons of tent campers out that night as well.
This weather is exactly why we upgraded from a tent to a camper. We wanted to be out camping more often without the worry a crazy Kansas storm would blow us away!
