The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has ruled that a new pioneering drug Donanemab, that can treat Alzheimer’s, does not "currently demonstrate value for the NHS".
It’s the second time a new treatment has been rejected by the health spending watchdog in the past few months.
