Pastor Kayra defines a true, Biblical Sabbath as a 24 hour block of time when you stop both paid and unpaid work to rest, delight in God and contemplate His love for you. The truth is, it’s hard to intentionally develop these rhythms of rest when you feel like you’re constantly just trying to keep up. So, start by designating a day of the week and setting clear boundaries around your Sabbath. Then, make a list of what energizes your soul and do more of that! Stop striving and worship with a heart of gratitude.
