This city walk begins on Baiyun Road. Tall street trees cover the roadway, their canopy lowering the sense of scale. E-scooters, bicycles, and pedestrians move together, forming a typical residential street shaped by everyday life. Ground-floor neighborhood shops, residential entrances, and daily circulation patterns line the street. The pace is unhurried, and the soundscape feels distinctly local.

Heading north, the function of the space begins to shift. The residential street gradually gives way to commercial uses and urban traffic infrastructure. The road widens, sightlines open up, and while the street trees remain, they no longer define the space. Clearer vehicular order and city facilities take over. Walking here shifts from moving through a neighborhood to progressing along the city’s structural framework.

Turning onto Sanlihe East Road, the urban character becomes more pronounced. A riverside green belt increases the distance between people and traffic, while bridges, interchanges, and office buildings come into view. The space moves from everyday intimacy to a more rational, infrastructural logic. It is a very typical West Beijing street—unassuming, yet clearly revealing changes in the city’s spatial hierarchy.

這段城市散步從白雲路開始。街道被高大的行道樹覆蓋，樹蔭壓低了尺度，電動車、自行車、行人混在一起，是典型的生活型街區。沿街是社區底商、居民出入口和日常動線，節奏不快，聲音也很生活。

繼續向北，空間功能開始切換，生活型街區逐漸讓位給商業與城市交通介面。道路變寬，視野被打開，行道樹仍在，但不再主導空間，取而代之的是更清晰的車行秩序與城市設施。步行從“穿行社區”，變成“順著城市結構前進”。

轉入三裡河東路後，城市感明顯增強。沿河綠帶拉開了人與道路的距離，橋樑、立交與辦公體量進入視野，空間從日常走向理性。這是一條很典型的西城街道——不突兀，卻清楚地讓你感受到城市層級的變化。
