🌿 Walk Intro 散步簡介:
This walk takes us from the street level of Zhongxiao East Road into another layer of the city—the East District Underground Shopping Street. Located beneath Taipei's busiest commercial axis, connecting Zhongxiao Dunhua Station and Zhongxiao Fuxing Station, it's a vital underground thoroughfare linking commuting, shopping, and daily life.

Walking along the underground street, the even lighting expands the sense of space, with clothing stores, shoe shops, general stores, and food stalls unfolding in sequence. The crowd moves at a steady and restrained pace; some are looking down at their phones, others are carrying shopping bags and continuing forward. The underground space feels surprisingly quiet and orderly.

Compared to the neon lights and traffic of the street level, this place feels more like a life corridor embraced by the city. It's neither boisterous nor deliberately trying to please, yet it carries the most authentic daily life of Taipei—a place where the city continues to breathe, even without sunlight.

這次散步從忠孝東路地面進入城市的另一層——東區地下街。這裡位於台北最繁忙的商業軸線之下，連接忠孝敦化站與忠孝復興站，是一條串聯通勤、購物與日常穿行的重要地下動線。

沿著地下街前行，均勻的燈光拉開了空間尺度，服飾店、鞋鋪、生活雜貨與小吃店依序展開。人群節奏穩定克制，有人低頭滑手機，有人提著購物袋繼續向前，地下空間反而顯得安靜有序。

相較於地面層的霓虹與車流，這裡更像是被城市包裹的生活走廊。不喧嘩，也不刻意取悅，卻承載著台北最真實的日常──在沒有陽光的地方，城市依然持續呼吸。
